This Intellinet Gigabit Ethernet to SFP media converter is perfect for extending networks using a fiber connection. The converter connects via SFP modules to a fiber connection and converts it to copper (RJ45). These converters are ideal for connecting buildings, masts in the field or patch cabinets to each other via fiber.

By applying these converters, enormous distances can be achieved. Depending on the SFP module used, this can vary from a few kilometers to over 120 kilometers.
